I was born and raised in a small town in North Texas called Collinsville. I graduated from high school there in 2009 and moved out west to Lubbock, Texas, where I received my undergraduate degree at Texas Tech University in Electronic Media & Communications. I am currently pursuing my master's degree in Media & Communication here at Texas Tech and will graduate in December 2014.
I work as a graduate assistant in the College of Media & Communication where I study. I also work part-time at a local bike shop a few days a week. As far as hobbies go, cycling is my favorite activity. I have been a member of the Texas Tech Cycling team the entire time I've been at the university, and I spend a lot of time on a bicycle, whether it's commuting, road cycling, or mountain biking.
I'm also a big movie nerd, and I spend a lot of time watching movies or television series. I enjoy being behind the camera, as well, and always take the opportunity to shoot and edit my own videos or take photos when the opportunity arises. Lastly, I love traveling when I can and am willing to go just about anywhere.
